No online or multiplayer mode has been announced for launch day. The game shipping November 19 is Jason and Lucia's story. Given that GTA Online became one of the most profitable entertainment products ever made, almost nobody expects the online era to stay closed forever — but that's inference, not announcement, and Rockstar has said nothing about an online mode's timing.
